Bei Chlorella handelt es sich um eine Mikroalge. Neben ihrer guten Nährstoffzusammensetzung konnten in Studien außerdem leberschützende Eigenschaften gezeigt werden, die mit einer Erhöhung des reduzierten Glutathions und der antioxidativen Kapazität einhergehen. Wir verwenden Chlorella-Pulver aus biologischem Anbau.
Die Mariendistel (Silybum marianum) gehört zur Familie der Korbblütler. Ihre Samen enthalten den Stoff Silymarin. Die antioxidativen, anti-entzündlichen und leberschützenden Eigenschaften von Silymarin sind in zahlreichen Studien erforscht worden. Der von uns verwendete Mariendistelsamen-Extrakt enthält 80% Silymarin.
Für den Rosmarinblatt-Extrakt werden die Blätter des Rosmarins (Salvia rosmarinus) verwendet. Sowohl im Tierversuch als auch in klinischen Studien konnte die leberunterstützende, antioxidative und anti-entzündliche Wirkung von Rosmarin-Extrakt gezeigt werden. Es unterstützt den normalen Stoffwechsel der Steroidhormone, indem es die Gallenproduktion anregt. Rosmarinextrakt kann den Östradiol-Stoffwechsel regulieren.
Rotklee (Trifolium pratense) gehört zur Familie der Hülsenfrüchtler und ist reich an Isoflavonen. Er wird viel in der Frauenheilkunde eingesetzt. In Tier- und Humanstudien konnte Rotklee den Östrogen- und Progesteronhaushalt regulieren und dadurch Beschwerden der Menopause lindern und das Risiko für Brustkrebs reduzieren. Außerdem scheint Rotklee den Glukosestoffwechsel positiv zu beeinflussen.
Glutathion ist ein Tripeptid, das eines der wichtigsten Antioxidantien in unserem Körper darstellt. Wir verwenden es in seiner reduzierten, aktiven Form. Es fungiert als Fänger freier Radikale in allen Körperzellen und liegt in besonders hoher Konzentration in der Leber vor. Dort ist es für die Entgiftungsfunktion der Leber zuständig. Der Bedarf an Glutathion kann erhöht sein bei erhöhtem oxidativen Stress und hoher Lebertätigkeit, z.B. bei der Einnahme von Medikamenten. In Lebensmitteln kommt Glutathion vor allem in Obst und Gemüse vor. Besonders Spargel wird als sehr guter Lieferant genannt."
Die Frucht des Schwarzen Pfeffers (Piper nigrum) soll die Bioverfügbarkeit und Absorptionsrate verschiedener pharmakologisch wirksamer Substanzen verbessern und wird deshalb z.B. auch in der Ayurveda oft begleitend eingesetzt.

Folgen eines Mangels an Biotin sein. Biotin kommt in vielen pflanzlichen Lebensmitteln vor, z.B. in Hülsenfrüchten, Hefeflocken, Vollkorngetreide, Champignons oder Avocado.
Cholin ist ein wasserlösliches Vitamin und wird den B-Vitaminen zugeordnet. Es spielt eine wichtige Rolle in vielen Stoffwechselprozessen des Körpers, darunter auch in der Leber. Es kann vom Körper selbst synthetisiert werden, jedoch nicht in ausreichender Menge. Cholin kommt in Lebensmitteln wie Eigelb, Sojabohnen, Leber und Nüssen vor.
Eisen ist ein wichtiger Cofaktor für viele Enzyme und spielt in der Funktion der roten Blutkörperchen eine bedeutende Rolle. Durch die Menstruationsblutung gehen regelmäßig große Mengen an Eisen verloren. Wichtige pflanzliche Eisenlieferanten sind Vollkorngetreide, Hülsenfrüchte, Nüsse, Saaten und Kerne, dunkelgrünes Blattgemüse und Trockenobst. Wichtig ist, dass diese nicht in Kombination mit Aufnahme-hemmenden Lebensmitteln (z.B. Kaffee, schwarzer Tee, grüner Tee) verzehrt werden. Besser ist die Kombination mit Vitamin C oder Fruchtsäure-reichen Lebensmitteln.
Folsäure wird nur in kleinen Mengen im Körper gespeichert. Eine niedrige Versorgung macht sich somit innerhalb kürzester Zeit bemerkbar. Besonders häufig sind Beschwerden wie Müdigkeit, Reizbarkeit, Angstzustände oder depressive Verstimmungen. Die Pille erhöht den Bedarf an Folsäure. Nach dem Absetzen kann es noch bis zu 3 Monate dauern, bis ein normales Blutlevel erreicht ist. Dies ist besonders beachtenswert, wenn die Pille wegen Kinderwunsch abgesetzt wird. Folsäure befindet sich in vielen pflanzlichen Lebensmitteln wie Hülsenfrüchten, Vollkorngetreide, Getreidekeimen, dunkelgrünem Blattgemüse, Kohl und Hefeflocken. Da Folsäure ein sehr empfindliches Vitamin ist, solltest du darauf achten, möglichst frische und unverarbeitete Lebensmittel in deinen Speiseplan einzubauen.
Magnesium spielt eine wichtige Rolle in der Funktion des Nervensystems. Sein Bedarf ist durch die Einnahme der Pille erhöht und birgt so ein erhöhtes Risiko für Osteoporose, Migräne oder Thrombosen. Menstruationskrämpfe lassen sich durch Magnesium gut lindern. Vor allem in Kombination mit Vitamin B6 lassen sich Beschwerden des PMS wie emotionale Schwankungen reduzieren. Magnesium kommt in vielen pflanzlichen Nahrungsmitteln vor. Gute Quellen sind Hülsenfrüchte, Vollkorngetreide, Saaten, Kerne, Nüsse, dunkelgrünes Blattgemüse und auch Mineralwasser.
Mangan ist eines der Mineralien, die in der Ernährung oft zu kurz kommen und die sich ganz besonders auf das System der Sexualhormone auswirken. Manganmangel kann z.B. die Fruchtbarkeit reduzieren und die Gesundheit von Haut und Bindegewebe beeinflussen. Mangan kann in Kombination mit Kalzium Symptome des PMS reduzieren. Lebensmittel wie Vollkorngetreide, Haferflocken, Hülsenfrüchte, Nüsse, Getreidekeime und Saaten sind gute Manganquellen.
Selen ist Teil der antioxidativen Prozesse im Körper und ermöglicht die Funktion der Schilddrüsenhormone. Ein Mangel kann sich auf viele Arten bemerkbar machen, eine Folge können Fertilitätsstörungen sein. Deutsche Böden sind eher selenarm, nennenswerte Mengen befinden sich z.B. in Paranüssen, Hülsenfrüchten und Vollkorngetreide.

Besonders wichtig ist seine Funktion als Cofaktor in unzähligen Stoffwechselwegen, im Immunsystem, in der Bildung der Geschlechtshormone und dem gesunden Aufbau von Haut, Haaren, Nägeln, Schleimhäuten etc. Allgemein gilt die Zinkzufuhr als kritisch. Der Bedarf an Zink wird durch die Einnahme der Pille noch weiter erhöht. Vitamin A ist notwendig für die körpereigene Synthese der Geschlechtshormone und ganz besonders wichtig für die gesunde Schutzfunktion der Haut, den Aufbau der Gewebe u.a. im Harn- und Genitaltrakt und der gesunden Funktion der Schleimhäute. Der Bedarf an Vitamin A kann durch verschiedene Faktoren erhöht werden, z.B. Stress, Entzündungen, hohe Sonneneinstrahlung, Rauchen oder Alkoholkonsum. In pflanzlichen Lebensmitteln findet man Vitamin A als Vorstufe in Form von Carotinoiden. Diese finden sich in allen möglichen Obst- und Gemüsesorten, besonders z.B. in Süßkartoffeln, Karotten, Spinat oder auch Aprikosen oder Pfirsichen.
Der Bedarf der einzelnen B-Vitamine ist durch die Einnahme der Pille erhöht. Vitamin B1 hat nur eine geringe Speicherkapazität im Körper und sollte deshalb täglich zugeführt werden. Vitamin B1 ist wichtig für die Funktion des Nervensystems und gesunde psychische Prozesse, sorgt für eine funktionierende Wundheilung und trägt damit zu einer gesunden Haut bei. Vitamin B1 findest du in Hefeflocken, Vollkorngetreide, Ölsaaten wie Sonnenblumen- oder Kürbiskernen, aber auch in Hülsenfrüchten und Kartoffeln.

Ein Vitamin B2 -Mangel steht im Verdacht, Mitverursacher von Migräne und Kopfschmerzen bei Pilleneinnahme zu sein. Gute Vitamin B2- Quellen sind Champignons, Hefeflocken, dunkelgrünes Blattgemüse und Nüsse. Vitamin B2 ist relativ hitzeempfindlich, löst sich beim Zubereiten aber in Wasser. Nutze also auch das Kochwasser von Gemüse, z.B. als Sauce oder Brühe.

Niacin befindet sich aber auch direkt in Hülsenfrüchten wie Erdnüssen, Cashewkernen oder z.B. Champignons.s Kochwasser von Gemüse, z.B. als Sauce oder Brühe.
Pantothensäure ist am Aufbau von Geschlechtshormonen und Steroidhormonen wie Cortisol beteiligt. Es hat dadurch eine Rolle beim Hormongleichgewicht und der Stressreaktion des Körpers. Ein Mangel macht sich u.a. in Müdigkeit und schlechter Wundheilung bemerkbar. Pantothensäure befindet sich in vielen Lebensmitteln wie Hülsenfrüchten, Vollkorngetreide, dunkelgrünem Blattgemüse oder Nüssen.

Gute pflanzliche Quellen sind Kartoffeln, Bananen, Hülsenfrüchte, Hefeflocken, dunkelgrünes Blattgemüse und Nüsse. Achte darauf, auch Rohkost in deinen Speiseplan einzubauen, denn Vitamin B6 ist sehr hitzeempfindlich.
